Need a hand? Write to suporte@zefircalendar.com.br. ZefirCalendar is built by one person, and that person answers the emails. Telling me your Windows version and which calendar service is involved usually saves a round trip.

How do I connect my iCloud calendars?

Apple does not let other apps use your main password, so you generate a separate password just for ZefirCalendar. Go to account.apple.com, sign in, open the sign-in and security section and create an app-specific password. Copy it and paste it into ZefirCalendar's Settings along with your Apple ID email. This password only works for calendar access and you can revoke it at any time, without changing your Apple password.

My iCloud shared calendars are not showing up

A shared calendar only reaches ZefirCalendar after you have accepted the invitation on an Apple device or at icloud.com. If you never accepted it, it does not exist in your account yet and no app can see it. Accept it, then remove and reconnect the account in Settings so the calendar list is fetched again. Calendars shared as a public read-only link are a different thing: those come in through the iCal/ICS option, not through iCloud.

How do I connect Google Calendar or Outlook?

Both use the official sign-in page of each service. In Settings, choose Google or Microsoft, and your default browser opens on Google's or Microsoft's own page. You sign in there and grant permission, and the browser hands the authorization back to the app. ZefirCalendar never sees your password. Outlook works with personal accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) and with work or school accounts on Microsoft 365.

My work Microsoft account asks for administrator approval

That is your organization's policy, not a limitation of the app. Many companies require an administrator to approve any external application before it can read calendars. The sign-in page usually offers to send the request for you. If it does not, ask your IT team to approve ZefirCalendar's access to calendars for your account. Personal accounts never go through this.

What happens when the 7-day free trial ends?

The app keeps working, for free, with no time limit. Today's events stay complete and readable. Events on the other days still appear in the grid, as colored bars showing that something is scheduled, but without title, place or details, and they cannot be opened. Creating, editing and deleting events is paused, and so is connecting a new account. Nothing is deleted and the accounts you already connected stay connected. Subscribing at any point restores the full app exactly as it was.

How do I subscribe, and how do I cancel?

The subscription is sold and charged by the Microsoft Store, monthly or yearly, using the payment method already on your Microsoft account. To cancel, go to account.microsoft.com/services, find ZefirCalendar under your subscriptions and turn off recurring billing. Canceling stops the next charge and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Microsoft, not by us, through the same page.

Are my events stored on my computer?

No. Your events are fetched from each service and held only in memory while the app is open. Close the app and they are gone from your machine. What does get stored, encrypted by Windows itself, is only what is needed to reconnect: your credentials, the list of your calendars and your preferences. There is no server of ours in the middle, so your calendar data is never in our possession. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

I changed an event and it did not show up on my phone

The change is sent to the service the moment you save it, so the delay is usually on the other side. iPhone and Android apps refresh calendars on their own schedule, which can take several minutes. Open the calendar on the phone and pull to refresh before assuming it failed. If the event really did not arrive, check whether the calendar it belongs to is one you can edit: calendars shared with you as read-only, and calendars added through an iCal/ICS link, cannot receive changes.

How do I remove an account or uninstall completely?

To disconnect a single service, remove the account in Settings. To remove the app, uninstall it the usual Windows way, through Settings, Apps, Installed apps. If you also want to erase every local trace, delete the folder %APPDATA%\ZefirCalendar and the folder .zefir inside your user folder. Revoking access on the service side is done at myaccount.google.com/permissions for Google, at account.live.com/consent/Manage for personal Microsoft accounts, and at account.apple.com for the Apple app-specific password. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription; that is done separately, in your Microsoft account.

The tray icon disappeared, or the app will not open

Windows 11 hides most tray icons behind the small arrow next to the clock. Click that arrow first: the icon is usually there. To keep it always visible, drag it out of that panel onto the taskbar, or turn it on under Settings, Personalization, Taskbar, Other system tray icons. If the app does not seem to start at all, it may already be running: open Task Manager and end any ZefirCalendar process, then open it again.
